LY exhibition”DIKSSKID”＠NO.12GALLERY

There were all of Ly’s art work on the wall, sweet and dark world was spread in exhibition. Mascot of Mr DIK that was possible to reach higher ceiling. We had to admire by many characters on the all of wall. The other side, there were a lots of campus. And then, artist Ly were selling T-shirts what was produced her Art work.
We would like artist Ly, because that art work has collaborated with fashion brands and to post on many magazine.

壁一面がモノクロームアーティストLyのArt workで覆い尽くされ、優しくてちょっとダークな世界が広がるExhibition。天井に届きそうなほどの奇妙なキャラクターDIKくん。壁の隅々まで描かれているたくさんのキャラクター達に圧巻させられる。反対側の壁にはずらりとキャンバスの数々が並ぶ。また、ギャラリーでは彼女のArtworkをおさめた”LYZINE”やTシャツなども発売されていた。
アパレルブランドとのコラボや、数々の雑誌にも取り上げられるなど、今後も注目のアーティストLｙだ

1981年東京生まれ。Lyの眼の前に広がる世界を黒と白で絵を描くアーティスト。”生き物”と総称されたDIK（男性器）な生き物やもじゃもじゃで角の生えたモンスター、兎の少年などを不思議な生き物たちを描いている。Lyの絵に登場する生き物は、眼に見えそうであったり、Lyの夢にたびたびでてくる者たちで、単に、かわいいだけでなくそこにはタブーであったり、見てはいけないもの、言ってはいけないことなどをLyの描く”DIKくん”を中心とする生き物たちは表現している。

Weave in chain these scene and expressing it as painting .When her picture is seen first,you may feel “death and sexual image”on the world.Secondarity,it yeams. It is a yeaming for jumping over the kontemporary borders.For instance it the discommunication and the sex or character difference,etc…that spread to the society.The message concealed from the work can be seen here and there.
